Megan Miranda
Founder and Principle Subject Matter Expert
Megan has more than a decade of experience in ecosystem carbon quantification, greenhouse gas inventories, and natural and working lands climate policy and implementation. Her work has focused on the intersection of land management, carbon markets, and decarbonization strategy.
She has led carbon offset strategy and portfolio development for corporations, utilities, and public agencies, and has developed greenhouse gas inventories and mitigation strategies for numerous state and regional governments. Megan has worked across a wide range of land-based climate solutions, including forestry offsets, agricultural carbon projects, wetland restoration, and regenerative land management.
Earlier in her career, Megan contributed to the development of California’s first geospatial inventory of ecosystem carbon across natural and working lands. Today, she focuses on translating carbon science and policy into real projects that leverage land, geology, and capital to deliver measurable climate outcomes.
Megan holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
